We at Subaru of Loveland are proud to help sponsor Sierra's Race Against Meningitis. Every year, meningitis kills or disables 1.2 million people. The worst part is that it is easily prevented with simple vaccinations, but many people don't realize it. Sierra's Race Against Meningitis is a 5K race that aims to raise awareness and save lives, and we are thrilled to be able to help. Over the past nine years, Sierra's Race Against Meningitis has raised over $410,000, and has been able to provide 5,200 free vaccinations.

This year's race was a great success; 658 people finished the race. The winning man was Jordan Jennings with a time of 16:39, and the winning woman was Abby Depperschmidt with a time of 19:26. We are thrilled with the turnout, and we at Subaru of Loveland can't wait until next year's race. We hope that one day this terrible disease will be fully eradicated; in the meantime, we're glad to help out this cause.
