For one, the sophistication of the new Subaru SUV's standard SUBARU STARLINK touchscreen infotainment system gets taken up a notch, incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to remain at the forefront of streamlined compatibility with a variety of smartphones and media devices. That's in addition to an already laudable slate of tech capabilities, from Bluetooth wireless streaming and Pandora and Aha app integration in lower trims to voice control and available navigation in those upper.
Likewise, 2018 Subaru Outback gets a few front exterior style revisions to make it an attention commander. Beyond striking aesthetic accents, aluminum-alloy wheels in the discerning palate's choice of silver and machined black or dark gray finishes present. These give way above to projector low-beam and multi-reflector high-beam headlights – and fog lights at upper trim levels -- to cut through the thick of it while Outback cuts quite the figure.
