What is the Added Security Warranty?

The Added Security Warranty is Subaru's guarantee that you will want to stay with Subaru for the rest of your car-owning career. Suppose a covered component of your new Subaru is compromised for whatever reason. In that case, our certified Subaru technicians will fix it with new or Subaru re-manufactured parts versus "like" or used parts.

There are two plan options for Subaru owners: Classic and Gold

Classic Plan

• Covers major Subaru parts, including the engine, all-wheel drive, the transmission, towing capabilities and functions, and provides a car rental while you wait for your Subaru to leave the body shop.

Gold Plan

• Covers all Classic Plan criteria and adds components like air conditioning, electrical, steering, front suspension, brakes, and more.

Other plan details include options of up to eight years/120 thousand miles and ten years/100 thousand miles that you can also opt to transfer when trading or reselling your model. Deductibles of zero or 100 dollars are available, and towing and rental costs are always reimbursed during covered repairs

What's So Different About the Added Security Warranty?

Unlike standard warranties offered in service agreements by your dealer, the Subaru Added Security Warranty includes comprehensive coverage on parts not supported by general service agreements. Such as wear and tear, onboard computers, and other items that Windsor and Estes Park consumers might run into.
