The BRZ is equipped with TORSEN® limited-slip rear differential, Vehicle Stability Control with Track mode, and is available with SACHS® performance shock absorbers and Brembo® performance brake system. The Toyota 86 offers some of the same features, but not to the same caliber as the BRZ.

The Subaru STARLINK multimedia system comes standard with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming, and USB ports. The 86 doesn't offer Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
